Teen Daze Announces Tour / Shares “Reykjavik, January 2015”
The couple years have been busy for Jamison of Teen Daze: three LPs released, several EPs and singles, and months of touring throughout North America and Europe. With each step, Teen Daze has matured from its humble bedroom-project beginnings, to a fully-formed, diverse, musical expression. Always shifting sounds, trying never to repeat himself, Jamison has carved out his own unique voice in the world of electronic music; whether it’s the synth-laden, utopian dreams of “All Of Us, Together”, the inward-searching, spiritual dream pop of “The Inner Mansions” or the exploration into the frozen post-rock wilderness of “Glacier”.
Teen Daze has announced that he will hit the road once again this January, touring across Europe and the UK, and the “A World Away” EP that he made in celebration of his upcoming tour. Check out the first single “Reykjavik, January 2015”, here.

More info on “A World Away” EP:
A World Away was written throughout most of last year, mostly as sonic experiments outside of the work I was doing on my next proper LP. It was recorded at my home studio outside of Vancouver, BC.
My main goal with this release was to create something that lived somewhere between the new age and ambient music I was entrenched in, with more straight-ahead electronic music. I’ve always loved the idea of creating music that I could hear at a club, but also fall asleep to. This EP is an experimentation in that concept.
I’ve played several of these songs during my live solo sets over the last year, and I’m excited to be taking this release on the road for a large portion of 2015. Playing shows and travelling will make up a lot of the next year, and I’m excited to get to create these atmospheres in a live setting.
